Learn to Spin
Whether you have a private lesson or learn in company with one or two others, you can come to our Studio, nestled beneath the Dandenongs, in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs.
In the 2 hour session, your will learn about all kinds of fibre, about the wheel and how it works, also about spinning, plying and skeining, and how to care for your project.
We supply the wheels, equipment and fibre for your lesson. You take home what you make along with a packet of personally recommended fibre-related information. For those who already have a wheel, the cost of the lesson includes a complimentary wheel check (any parts are extra).

Parts, Repairs and Service
Wheel not working properly? We lovingly service each wheel, whatever may be required: Lubrication, new drive band, spare parts. If parts are broken or missing, then we have contacts to manufacture parts, as needed, at reasonable cost.
Wheel Hire
While we analyse your wheel to discover the reason your wheel is not performing properly, we can offer you one of our hire wheels – for the lesson, for the week, or for a time. Hire fees apply.
New to spinning? Unsure which wheel to select? Use one of our wheels, and try before you buy. All our wheels are fully serviced and we have lovely second-hand wheels for sale.
Want to try out a new or different wheel? We have several makes and configurations from which to choose. Select from our range of hire wheels, before you buy. If you really like your hire wheel, then hire fees can be converted to purchase.
Fibre and Yarn Supply
Need something to spin? Want to top up your stash? We have several kinds of fibre, lots of colours, all packaged in 400gms, reasonably priced and ready for new homes and projects.
